An adjunct with our department beginning in Fall 2009, Jason received his PhD from UNT in Spring 09 after completing his dissertation Disturbing Nature’s Beauty: Environmental Aesthetics in a New Ecological Paradigm. Jason received the M.A in philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2003 and the B.A. in philosophy with a minor in Art History from Texas State University at San Marcos in 2001. Jason's research interests include environmental aesthetics and ethics, philosophy of ecology, aesthetics in science, and philosophy of art. In his spare time he trains for and competes in triathlons.
