Programs

The Dept of Philosophy and Religion at UNT has different programs to suit the needs of different students.  Topics can be studied as an end in themselves, in its relationship to other academic areas, and as a preparation for studies in law, theology, medicine, and other fields.

Graduate work in the department is distinguished by its focus on environmental ethics and philosophy. The new Ph.D. program received final approval during the 2004-2005 academic year and began in Fall of 2005.
