Jason Simus
Jason has been a Doctoral Student in the department since Fall of 2006. He is currently a teaching assistant and has served the department as a teaching fellow as well.

Education Background
Jason recieved a M.A in philosophy from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2003 and a B.A. in philosophy with a minor in Art History from Texas State University at San Marcos in 2001.
Biographical Information
Jason's research interests include environmental aesthetics and ethics, philosophy of ecology, aesthetics in science, and philosophy of art. He is currectly working on his dissertation entitled "Disturbing Nature's Beauty: Environmental Aesthetics and the New Ecology." In his spare time he trains for and competes in triathlons.
