Emerging
Issues

A conference Environmental Ethics: Emerging Issues will be held at the University of North Texas from 3 to 5 April 1998. It will begin at 1:30 p.m. Friday and conclude at 12:00 noon Sunday. It is sponsored by the Center for Environmental Philosophy. It will be the first conference to be held in the new Environment Education, Science, and Technology Building, Room 176, the new home of the UNT Environmental Ethics Program, the Center for Environmental Philosophy, and the journal Environmental Ethics.

General Information


Denton, Texas is the north side of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.The Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport is approximately twenty-eight miles from Denton. For transportation to and from the airport, reservations should be made in advance by calling Denton Airport Shuttle at 940/565-9936 or 800/634-6231, A A Cab Company at 940/383-4155, Affordable Limo Shuttle at 940/591-1152, or Denton City Taxi Service at 940/898-8294.

The University of North Texas is located to the southeast of the intersection of I-35, I-35E, and I-35W. To reach the university or the hotels, use the Avenue D exit on I-35E. The Radisson Hotel is located on the northwest side of the intersection of I-35E and Avenue D. The Royal Hotel Suites is located to the southeast of the intersection.
